For participants

Taking part in research

Your decision should be informed, comfortable and completely voluntary. Here is what you can generally expect when considering a CRA study.

01

Before you join

You will receive clear information about the study, what participation involves, potential risks and benefits, privacy and who to contact. You can ask questions before deciding.

02

During a study

Activities differ by trial and may include online questionnaires, clinic visits, study products, simple cognitive or physical tests, samples or wearable devices. The study team explains these before enrolment.

03

Your choice and privacy

Participation is voluntary. You may decide not to join or withdraw later without penalty. Research data are handled according to the study information and applicable privacy and ethics requirements.

04

Is a study right for me?

Initial screening helps determine whether a study may be safe and suitable. Not everyone who enquires will be eligible, and eligibility is never a judgement about your health.
