About Clinical Research Australia
Clinical Research Australia is an independent clinical research organisation specialising in human studies of nutraceuticals, natural medicines and other health interventions.
Who we are
Based in Perth, Australia, we collaborate with companies and research partners worldwide to design, conduct and publish rigorous clinical research.
Our studies are scientifically robust, operationally practical and focused on outcomes that matter to participants, healthcare professionals and the wider scientific community.
Our approach
We combine scientific expertise with the flexibility of a specialist research organisation.
Each study is developed around the research question, product and intended population—not a standard template.
We support projects from planning and protocol development through ethics, recruitment, trial delivery, analysis and publication.
We combine rigorous analysis with clear interpretation to help sponsors understand their findings and make confident evidence-based decisions.
Leadership
Sponsors work with the senior researchers responsible for the scientific and operational delivery of their programme.
Managing Director & Principal Investigator
Adrian is a clinical psychologist and experienced clinical researcher specialising in nutraceutical, herbal and lifestyle interventions. He has led numerous randomised controlled trials across mental health, cognition, sleep, gastrointestinal health, women’s health and physical wellbeing.
He holds a PhD and a Master of Applied Psychology, is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Murdoch University, and has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications.
Clinical Trials Manager
Stephen is an experienced researcher with expertise in nutrition, exercise, men’s health and clinical trial delivery. He oversees participant management, research assessments, data quality and trial implementation.
He holds a PhD examining lifestyle and nutritional factors related to testosterone production in ageing males, together with qualifications in health science and advanced health practice.
Research integrity
Our research is conducted according to approved protocols, ethical requirements and recognised principles of good clinical research. We prioritise appropriate study design, validated outcome measures, transparent analysis and complete reporting.
CRA does not guarantee favourable findings. We provide something more valuable: credible, independently generated evidence that can be evaluated by scientists, clinicians, regulators and consumers.
Global collaboration
CRA works with natural-health and nutraceutical companies around the world. Our streamlined structure enables direct communication, efficient decisions and continuity from initial planning to publication.
