About the research

An independently managed clinical trial

Iron deficiency may contribute to persistent fatigue in some women. This randomised, controlled study compares two forms of iron—microencapsulated iron pyrophosphate and ferrous bisglycinate—with placebo.

Researchers will examine fatigue, blood iron levels, cognitive performance, mood, brain fog, general wellbeing and how well each form of iron is tolerated.
