Research on Nutruceuticals: A Guide for Designing High-Quality Clinical Trials

Nutraceutical companies are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of conducting clinical trials on their ingredients. Consequently, the number of clinical trials that are being conducted on nutraceuticals is increasing. However, to maximise the strength of evidence associated with nutraceutical clinical trials, they must be of high quality and ideally, published in reputable, peer-reviewed journals. In this e-book, recommendations are provided on how nutraceutical research should be conducted. This will strengthen the evidence of the efficacy and safety of nutraceuticals.
